In the 1940 Federal Census, George and Mary Anthony, both born in Poland, were residing on Munhall Street, Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Their children were John, 24, Andrew, 20, Nick, 20, Helen, 16, Mary, 13, William, 11, and George, Jr., 8. The father was employed as a "Utility Man Bridge Works."

"Mary L. K. Anthony" is the name on her membership card for her service in the U. S. Cadet Nurse Corps, while she was a student nurse at St. Francis during World War II. Her date of birth was January 8, 1927, and she lived on Munhall Street in Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania. She said her father was George Anthony, a Bridge Worker. - He died in 1975.

For several years following graduation, Mary Louise Anthony was employed as a School Nurse for the Canonsburg School District.

BROTHER'S OBITUARY: John Anthony - Canonsburg graduate played many sports John "Siz" Anthony, 81, of Canonsburg, died Monday, February 2, 1998, at Allegheny University Hospitals, Canonsburg. He was born April 16, 1916, in Canonsburg, a son of George and Mary Mikovich Anthony. Mr. Anthony was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg and a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Canonsburg. He was a 1934 graduate of Canonsburg High School where he excelled in many sports, including baseball, football and basketball. He was a member of the Senior Citizen Center of Canonsburg and was formerly employed at Fort Pitt Bridge Works in Canonsburg as a layouter, retiring in 1978. Surviving are his wife, Viola Kozar Anthony; a sister, Mary Anthony of Canonsburg; one brother, Dr. William "Butch" Anthony of Nags Head, N.C.; and several nieces. Deceased are three brothers, Andy, Nick, and George Anthony; and a sister, Helen Comins.

According to the Social Security Death Index, Mary Anthony died on June 24, 2013 in Raleigh, New Jersey.
