OBITUARY: Connie (Amoroso) Stemm, of Cheswick, and formerly of Danville, went peacefully to our Lord on Nov. 27, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Phyllis (Blasco) Amoroso.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph Stemm; their sons, Christopher, Jonathan and Phillip Stemm; her siblings, Kathleen (the late Robert) McCabe of Plum, Salvatore (Janet) Amoroso of Pittsburgh, Jacqueline Amoroso of Pittsburgh, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She graduated from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, and later received a nurse anesthesia degree from St. Francis Medical Center/LaRoche College.
She was a devoted spouse and mother, and loved being involved with her sons' school and athletic activities. She was a loving and giving person to everybody, and brought joy to everyone she knew.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation and Alternative Services Inc., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, Pa., on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 1, 2018, 10:30 a.m., St. Edward Church, 450 Walnut St, Blawnox, PA 15238. Everyone please meet at the church. Final resting will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
