HUSBAND'S OBITUARY --- Fountain Times Online [Maricopa County, Arizona] - December 13, 2009 -- Joseph B. Znaniecki of Meridian, Idaho originally of Fountain Hills, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at his home at age of 84. - Joe was born July 20, 1925 in Glen Lyon, Pa. He served in the First Marine Division in the South Pacific during World War II. He moved to Arizona with his wife Clara in 1953. Joe owned a real estate and an insurance business in Phoenix. - For 22 years, he owned a successful chain of western stores in Scottsdale. In Fountain Hills, he worked as a real estate agent before retiring to Idaho. - Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Clara; his son Dave and daughter in-law Jody; granddaughters Shaylan and Kiley; his brother, John Baker and his wife, Barbara. - Interment will be in the Veteran’s Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. - Contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, tribute number 25016968.
