MARY JANE ALVIN ZUKER of Myrtle Beach, SC, and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died on Monday, July 16, 2007. She was born on February 2, 1936 in Lemont Furnace, PA, Daughter of George and Mary Mickey, who preceded her in death. Mary Jane was the beloved Wife of Paul Zuker; Mother of Frank Alvin and Mark Alvin (Denise); Step-Mother of Dawn Jolly (Richard) and Paul Zuker, Jr.; Grandmother of Austin, Travis, Leah, and Jenna Alvin; Sister of George Elliott Mickey and B. Paul Mickey (Robin). She graduated from North Union High School in 1954 and went on to earn her RN and Masters Degrees. Mary Jane became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and served as Chief Nurse Anesthetist at Eye and Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh. She continued applying her skills at hospitals in Fairfax, VA and Myrtle Beach, SC. Mary Jane touched the lives of all who knew her and will be remembered for her sense of humor, strong will, courageous spirit, and caring nature. Friends will be received at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA, on Saturday August 18, 2007 from 12 to 2 p.m. Followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. and interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
