HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Stephen P. Bassick - Was retired foreman from Sharpsville Steel - Stephen P. Bassick of 86 Goetsch Road, Sugar Grove Township, died Sunday (8-17-97) in St. Paul Homes, 339 E. Jamestown Road, West Salem Township. He was 94. - Mr. Bassick was born May 27, 1903, in Homestead, Pa., to Peter and Anna Basscik. - He retired as a foreman from the former Sharpsville Steel Fabricators. He also worked for the former C.B. & I. Company, Greenville. - He was a member of St. Michael's Church and the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree, both in Greenville. - Surviving are: his wife, Grace Albertson, whom he married Nov. 22, 1949; a daughter, Mary Anne Johnston, Chautuaqua, N.Y.; a son, Joseph Bassick, Greenville; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Bielobocky, Greenville; and three grandchildren. - He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Peter Bassick; and three sisters, Maggie Yesko, Julia Yinski and Rose Bassick. - Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's School Fund, 85 N.
