WILLIAM DUDLEY, the son of Enoch William Dudley (1815-1871) and Susanna Dragoo (1811-1855), was born about 1845 in Marion County, (W.) Va. His paternal grandfather was Asa Dudley, b. 1767 in Saybrook, Middlesex Connecticut; d. 1845 in Dunkard Mill Run, Marion County, West Virginia. His paternal grandmother was Hannah Ballard, b. 1775, d. 1823.

William Dudley married Mariah Teagarden-Gorum 13 May 1867 in Ray County, Missouri. Their children were Enoch William b. 1867; Jackson Grant, b. 1869, d. 1919 (My Great Grandfather); James Augustine, b. 1872, d. 1939; Thomas Dudley Cummings, b. 1875, d. 1938.

William died about 1901 in Ray County, Missouri.
