Schissel, Frances Isabel, 95 of Glendale Arizona passed away on July 4, 2011. She was born on August 14, 1915 in Vandergrift, PA. As a Navy Nurse in WWII she met Urban E. Schissel in the Hawain Islands. They were married after the war and had two children, Urban E. Schissel, Jr. and Thomas J. Schissel. After retirement in 1981 she moved to Glendale, AZ from Chicago, Ill. Frances very actively served St. Raphael's Catholic Church for many years. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Frances was a loving mother and grandmother, and a good friend to many people. She will be greatly missed. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church 5525 W Acoma Rd, Glendale AZ on August 6th, 2011 at 11 A.M.
