Zosia and her sister, Irene, were the daughters of Walter and Helen (Bartolt) Zalenski. Zosia and Irene served in the U. S. Army Nurse Cadet Corps.

Zosia married Anthony F. Noce, a musician, on November 24, 1947 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He died February 14, 1958 and is buried at Saint Joseph Parish Cemetery, Natrona Heights, Allegheny County. They had a daughter, Carla, and perhaps other children.

The next husband of Zosia was Dene Hallam. He died in 1983 and is buried at Calverton National Cemetery, Suffolk County, New York. Zosia, born Sept 15, 1925, died August 28, 2010, while a resident of New Jersey. She, too, is buried at Calverton National Cemetery.
