passed away on March 21, 2014.

Irene and her sister, Zosia, were the daughters of Walter and Helen (Bartolt) Zalenski. Irene and Zosia both served in the U.S. Army Cadet Corps following their graduation from nursing school.
Irene "Nina" Zalenski Dittmann was born in 1923.
