OBITUARY: Nancy Rae Berry Young Ice, 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly August 4, 2018. - Nancy was the oldest daughter of Raymond J. and Therese Startare Berry of Mather. - She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1958 and St. Francis School of Nursing in 1965. - She married John Young in 1960, and they had two daughters, Marsha Kiger of Frederick, Md., and Tracey Young of Cincinnati. Nancy married her second husband, Clarence Ice, in 1977, and they resided in Cincinnati. - She worked in the medical field until retiring in 2004. Nancy enjoyed drawing, producing her own Christmas cards for many years, and jewelry making. Her fondness for animals led her to volunteer at Cincinnati Zoo after she retired. - She loved baking and cooking, sharing her talents with her neighbors, friends and the local senior citizen center. - Surviving, in addition to her two daughters, are a brother, Jay (Barb) Berry of Cape Coral, Fla., and a sister, Jeanne (Fred) Schroyer of Waynesburg. Also surviving are a granddaughter, a grandson, a niece and five nephews. - There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
