Nancy Grace Yohe was born about 1926 to William Knappenberger Yohe (1886-1967) and Rachel Grace Saxman (1894-1972). The family is found in the 1930 Federal Census of Carnegie Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at which time the father was employed as a laborer in a refinery. Nancy's siblings were Lucetta M. and William K. Yohe, Jr. By 1940, William was working as a "stillman" in oil refining, and they were living in New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

Nancy's husband was Robert Sterling Orrell, who was born March 17, 1917. His death occurred in May 1957 when he was only 40. They lived in California, and when her son, Derek, married in 1975, she was residing in Santa Monica. Another son, Greg "Dusty" Neil Orrell, was also named in Derek's wedding article.

According to the Alumni Newsletter of February 2015, Nancy Orrell is deceased, date unknown.

Dec 30, 2019, from Derek Orrell: "Nancy was born September 10, 1926; she died March 11, 2014 at her home in Santa Monica, California. My mother’s wishes were that her ashes be scattered in the Pacific Ocean; they were scattered in the Pacific off of Manhattan Beach, California."
