Judith Agnes Wood was the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy H. (Price) Holben. Judith died December 5 [or 15], 1990.

FATHER'S OBITUARY--- Arthur A. Holben, 53, of Chicora, died at 1:40 pm yesterday [Dec 2, 1971] at Butler County Memorial Hospital, were he had been admitted Wednesday following a heart seizure. - Born Dec 28, 1917, he was the son of Dory O. and the late Rose Burns Holben. - He was a member of the Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, Chicora, the Altar and Rosary Society. - Mr Holben was employed in the office of the R.R. Schubert Company of Butler, as a bookkeeper. - Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Price Holben, of Chicora, two daughters, Mrs William (Judith) Wood of Chicora RD 3, and Mrs Glenn (Mary Ann) Anderson of Prospect, three grandchildren, his father, Dory O. Holben of Kingston, Mass.; and a sister, Mrs Arthur (Louise) Fitch of Kingston, Mass. - HOLBEN - Friends Arthur A. Holben of Chicora, who died Thursday, Dec 2, 1971, will be received at the Vensel Funeral Home, Chicora, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday, and from 9 am to 12 noon Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday from Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, Chicora, with the Rev. John Biller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.

MOTHER'S OBITUARY--- DOROTHY HOLBEN 91, died October 24, 2009 in the Chicora Medical Center, Chicora, PA. She received a Bachelors Degree in teaching from Slippery Rock College in 1954 and started teaching in Brady's Bend in a one-room school house on her 20th birthday. She then worked for the Butler School District, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the local, state and national teachers association. Dorothy was a member of the Tanglewood and the Chicora Senior Centers. She was the oldest member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church where she was a lector and a member of the Christian Mothers and taught Sunday school. Born in DuBois, PA.
