Martha Grace Wilson, born about 1914 in Ohio, probably Steubenville, was the daughter of George F. and Mabel (Lauser) Wilson, residents of Steubenville. George was born in Pennsylvania and Mabel in Ohio. Another daughter was Caroline, about four years younger than Martha.

George Wilson worked as a machinist at Weirton Steel Corporation in Weirton, Hancock County, West Virginia, a short distance from Steubenville.

At the time of the 1940 Federal Census, Martha Grace, 26, was living with her parents and was employed as a "Registered Professional Nurse," at Weirton Steel.

Martha Grace married John Frederic Blackburn.
