OBITUARY--- NOVAK, Stella M., 90, of Coral Springs, FL, died on January 11, 2001. Stella was born on December 20, 1910 in Clairton, PA to Stephen & Marion Wenckunas. She has been a resident of the Coral Springs area for the past 25 years, having previously resided in Roselle, NJ. She served in the Army during WWII as a 1st Lieutenant with the Army nurse corps. Stella was an active member of the AARP, she faithfully served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Andrew Catholic Church, and also served as a volunteer with Goldcoast Hospice. She is pre-deceased by her son, Robert V. Novak. Stella is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Barbara Novak; grandson, Captain Matthew Novak (U.S. Armed Forces); grandaughters, Julie Novak and Karen Novak; and sister, Frances Orsini. There will be a memorial mass today, Saturday, 1:00 pm, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Coral Springs. The urn will be entombed at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
