CLARA M. SMITH WEISMILLER WIDMAN

Class of 1911

Clara Weismiller was born Clara M. Smith about 1876 in Friedens, Cambria County, Pennsylvania to David and Ellen Cora (Good) Smith. Clara was married to John G. Weismiller and they were the parents of John C. and Paul V. Weismiller. John G. died on August 23, 1903, and the two boys were residing with their uncle, Frank Weismiller, in 1910. - The mother/widow, Clara Weismiller, is not found in Cambria County in 1910.

Clara Weismiller, 26, is listed as a "pupil nurse" at St. Francis in 1910. The St. Francis student was born in Maryland, according to the 1910 census, and her parents in England. - No Clara Weismiller born in Maryland has been found anywhere, and this is likely Clara Smith Weismiller.

He was the son of Joseph G. and Susan (Rodgers) Widman, and had also been previously married. His wife died in 1905, leaving him with a daughter, Leona.
