Susie Walker, 27, a widow, was living at the St. Francis Nurses' Home at the time of the 1920 Federal Census. She was a student nurse, actually older than 27 years.

Susie Shea, daughter of Edward and Mary Arminta (Robinson) Shea, was born in November 1888, and was found in the 1910 census of Oakmont, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania with her husband, Harry R. Walker. Susie was 22 and her husband was 29. They had a son, Edward B., age 2. Harry apparently died, and Susie became a nurse.

In 1923, Susie married Josiah A. "Pat" McManigle. They didn't have any children, and her only child, Edward Walker, died in 1931. She died May 25, 1977, and her husband died in 1981.
