OBITUARY: Marilyn J. (Walker) Reott, 76, of Brenizer, passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer Saturday January 13, 2024 at Barnes Place, Latrobe PA. She was the widow of David E. Reott Sr. who preceded her in death in 2006. Born in Latrobe, PA, September 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Dorothy E. (Ferrari) Walker. Marilyn was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School Class of 1965. She graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing as a RN and worked at Torrance State Hospital for 35 years. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking for her family, crosswords to keep her sharp, shopping, and spending time with her family. Marilyn was preceded in death by her two sisters Margaret "Peg" Cawoski and Mary Jane Bulebash. Marilyn is survived by seven children Marc J. Walker-Reott, Samantha M. Reott-Seevers and husband David Seevers Jr, David E. Reott Jr., Renee M. Falcone and husband Brandon, Jamie L. Villarreal and husband Jason, Tina M. Kull and husband Cody, and Michael Reott and wife Rayla; eleven grandchildren David Seevers III, Brittney Sidwell and Anthony, Katie Tippett, Brayden Mickinac, Grady Falcone, Carter Reott, Jaxson Reott, Emmalynn Reott, River Jones, Iris Kull, Mavrik Kull, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends for Marilyn’s Life Celebration 4-7 PM, Thursday January 18, 2024 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331. A Blessing Service will be held for Marilyn 10:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 in the funeral home with Rev. Salvatore R. Lamendola as officiant. Interment will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery, New Derry.
