Elizabeth Lillian Vincze, born in Pittsburgh on May 29, 1916, was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Franz) Vincze, both born in Hungary. Elizabeth had a sister, Helen.

In Pittsburgh, on August 22, 1945, Elizabeth, a registered nurse, married Stephen E. Baluka, a millworker, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Kolar) Baluka.

Elizabeth and Stephen had two sons, David and Daniel.

Stephen Baluka died on November 13, 1986. Elizabeth's death occurred in February 1991.
