Mary B. Tushim, born 19 March 1906, was the daughter of John and Mary Tushim, both born in Czechoslovakia, and residents of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Mary B. died 5 February 1992.

The mother, Mary Gresock Tushim, 65, died 17 April 1947. Her husband died 20 December 1958. They are buried at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.

John A., born in 1899, became, a physician and practiced in Punxsutawney. He died 24 April 1963 and he is buried Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney. Joseph also became a doctor. He was born 8 December 1912 and he died 6 July 1998. He is buried in Altoona, Blair County.

The youngest child of John and Mary Tushim, Helen Jeanne, died tragically in 1925 while Mary B. was in nursing school at St. Francis.

Mary B.'s brother, Francis Tushim, became a priest. Her sister, Irene Tushim, became a nun - Sister Mary DePaul - at the Sisters of Mercy.

Francis and Mary B. both died in 1992 and they are buried at Calvary Cemetery. Their names are on the same marker.
