Marian E. Kostick, 84, of Arnold, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, in Mechanicsburg. She was born in Pittsburgh, Oct. 9, 1924, to the late William and Marie Lafferty Trimble. Marian was a registered nurse for 42 years. She worked at Washoe Medical Center, Reno, Nev., and the former Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington. She was a member of St. Vladimir Byzantine Ukrainian Rite Church in Arnold and a pyrohy worker in the church. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Survivors include her sons, Rick Huth, of Marienville, Mark (Barbara) Huth, of Tionesta, Eugene (Cindy) Huth, of Greensburg, Arthur (Sandy) Huth, of Mt. Pleasant, Timothy (Dawn) Kostick, of Pasadena, Md., and Michael Kostick, of Enola; daughters, Michelle (Robert) Barron, of Grand Forks, N.D., Georgine (James) Patterson, of Dayton, Ohio, and Alicemae (Thomas) Click, of Mechanicsburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ellen Magoc, of Lower Burrell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Thomas Kostick; and brothers, Robert and George Trimble. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, where Parastas will be at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Vladimir Church by the Rev. John Izral. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
