Valaray Sundo and her siblings, Alverda, Francis, Dennis, John, Thelma, Lorraine, and Regis, were born to the late Dennis and Margaret Hagerman Sundo.

Valaray married Raymond R. Tuite.

OBITUARY: Age 87, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, of Shaler Twp. Beloved wife of 47 years to the late Raymond R. Tuite. Loving mother of Tammy (Dave) Evans, Tim Tuite, Tom Tuite, Terry (Tricia) Tuite, and Tad (Philomena) Tuite. Grandmother of Garret, Grant (Erin), and Gavin Evans, Craig (Meghan), Courtney, and Kaitlyn Tuite and Luke Tuite. Daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret Sundo. Sister of the late Thelma, Francis, Alverda, Dennis, John, Regis and Lorraine. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Valaray graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing and was a nurse her entire adult life. She was a longtime resident of the Shaler community and member of St. Bonaventure Church for over 62 years. Family and friends will be received Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116.
