MARY ST PETER DEVLIN

Class of 1907

Mary St. Peter, born November 16, 1885 in Pennsylvania, was the daughter of Paul St. Peter (1858-1931), born in Canada, and Ellen C. Kelly (1860-1941), born in New York. Mr. St. Peter worked as a "Tipstaff" in the Criminal Court.

Mary was listed as a nurse in the 1910 census of the family, but she was also listed among the employees of the Municipal Hospital, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. Other children in the St. Peter home in 1910 were Helen, Gertrude, Pauline, and Alice.

She married Francis Aloysius Devlin, born in Long Bottom, Ohio. Their son, Francis Aloysius "Honey" Devlin, Jr., was born in 1916.

Paul St. Peter, Mary's father, died May 11, 1931. Her mother, Ellen, died December 6, 1941.

Francis Aloysius Devlin, Sr. died in May 17, 1952 at their home in Pittsburgh. Mary died November 12, 1980 in Los Angeles County, California. They are buried at Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
