OBITUARY: Maureen Elizabeth Sleber, 76, of Leet Township, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, in Heritage Valley Sewickley. She was born in Herminie, the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Sleber. She was the clinical services director for Passavant Memorial Homes. Maureen loved her family fiercely and was an amazing mother, having adopted five children with her partner of 43 years. She is survived by her partner: Rebecca Beyer; four children: Sandra, Stephen, Tay and Kye King; and a brother: Richard (Alicelyn) Sleber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kristopher King; and her sister, Karen Demer. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MOON TOWNSHIP, 1522 Coraopolis Heights Road, where a service will be conducted at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kristopher King Foundation Inc., or the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (C.O.R.E).
