Sisters, Elizabeth and Helen Sefcheck, were both graduates of the school of nursing at St. Francis Hospital. Their parents were Miecislaus (Michael) and Mary (Siwula) Szewczyk. The spelling was eventually changed to Sefcheck.

Elizabeth married John Zimmerman and his death occurred in 1978. A daughter, Bonnie Zimmerman (married name Garvey), graduated in the Class of 1962. Other children are Diane, Betty Jean, Cecelia, and John M.

ELIZABETH F. ZIMMERMAN, age 93, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, of Bethel Park. Beloved wife of the late John R.; loving mother of Bonnie (Thomas Spadafora) Garvey, Diane (the late Richard) Luffy, Betty Meiser, Cecelia (Fred) Peterson and John M. (Angela); sister of Bridget Marchewka and Joseph Sefcheck. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was a 1939 [error: 1937] graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and retired after 25 years of service at Baptist Home. Friends will be received at the JOHN F.
