OBITUARY - Joan Krejdovsky, age 76 of White Oak, passed away on December 15, 2016. Born August 16, 1940 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Perhach, and loving wife of the late Daniel Krejdovsky. Joan graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing and also belonged to their Alumni Association. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1962, and up until recently, was still dedicated to helping others by working in the Quality Control Department at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. While she had passion for work, family was what brought her the most joy. Their interests were her interests and spending time with them is what made her the happiest. She is survived by her children, Matthew (Regina) Krejdovsky, Meg Pero, David (Karen) Krejdovsky, and Dan (Janette) Krejdovsky; grandchildren, Zachary (Colleen), Brittney (Shawn) Krznaric, Samantha, Nicole, Emma, Laney, and Daniel; great-grandson, Tristan; brothers, James (Judy) Lawrence and David (Annmarie) Perhach and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. Angela Merici Church at 11 a.m. Fr. Kevin Dominik will officiate. Interment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing Alumni Association P.O.
