OBITUARY

Margaret Aileen Adley passed to eternal life on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Born July 18, 1918, to Harry Lawrence and Ruth Potter Parrish. Aileen grew up in Altoona, PA. A graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, she was a devoted caregiver to many. Aileen also wore with pride her volunteer pin for years of service at St. Clair Hospital and her choir robe from St. Margaret Church. Aileen was the beloved wife of the late Robert Adley, whom she married on November 22, 1941.

Left to cherish their memory are their children, Diane O'Malley (Fran), Kathleen Marks (Richard), Aileen, Bobby, Daniel (Joan Clements), and Michael (Kim Keeler). Her good works will be an inspiration to her grandchildren, including Frank Marks (Laura), Dan O'Malley (Cindy), Erin Watterson (Bryan), Matthew O'Malley (Dorothy), Jessica, Justin, David and Alex Adley. She loved six precious great-grandchildren. Aileen was the sister of Frances McCord, Patricia Padgett, Rev. William Parrish, Ann Parrish and the late Ruth McCormick, John and Harry Parrish. The family wishes to thank Ann, Gay, Edie, Judy, Phyllis and Debbie for their loving assistance through the last years.

Friends received at the BAGNATO FUNERAL HOME, Jefferson St., Carnegie, Wednesday, 2-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Greentree, Thursday, 10am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Butler VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Rd, Butler, PA 16001 for inpatient services in the center currently under construction.
