OBITUARY: Mary M. Hallisey, 64, of 1010 South Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 1990, in Aliquippa Hospital. - Born Dec. 2, 1925, in Kane, Pa., she was a daughter of the late James and Myrtle Bovard McKenna, and was the wife of the late Dr. John G. Hallisey, who died Jan. 7, 1986. - A member of St. Francis Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Center Township, she was a licensed registered nurse, and was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. She was a member of the Aliquippa Hospital Linkage Program; a member and past president of Beaver County Medical Society Auxiliary; Aliquippa Woman's Club; a member of Aliquippa Hospital Auxiliary, and Tyler Youth Group. - Surviving are four sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathy Hallisey, Santa Maria, Calif.; Brian Hallisey, Newbury, Mass.; Capt. John K. Hallisey, in New Mexico, and Peter Hallisey, Pittsburgh; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mary Anne and Scott Hodge, Hopewell Township; Capt. Rob and Margaret Hallisey Robinette, Brentwood, Calif.; Kathleen and Randall Pickard, Glenview, Ill., and Judith Hallisey, Aliquippa; four grandchildren, Devin Kearns, John Hodge, and Grant and Kendra Pickard; a brother, James McKenna, Beaver Falls, and a sister, Betty Smart, Kane. - Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DARROCH FUNERAL HOME, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Center Township. - Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township. - A Rosary will be recited today at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. - The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Tyler Youth Group, Maratta Road, Aliquippa, or the Aliquippa Hospital Linkage Program, Hospital Drive, Aliquippa.

HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Dr. John G. Hallisey, 67, 1010 South Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1986, in his home. - Born July 31, 1918, in West Aliquippa, he was a son of the late John W. and Theresa M. King Hallisey. He was graduate of Geneva College Class of 1943, University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1946; was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army, and was employee of the United States Public Health Service, attached to the Coast Guard as a ship's surgeon. He was a member and past president of the Aliquippa Hospital Medical Staff, member and past president of the Beaver County Medical Center, member of Pennsylvania Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Utilization Review Physicians, Federal Aviation Medical Examiner; director of the Aliquippa Hospital Home Health Care, and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. - Surviving are his wife, Mary M. McKenna Hallisey; four sons, Michael and his wife, Kathy, Bristol, Conn; Brian, Boston, Mass; Lt. John K., Shephard Air Force Base, Texas; and Peter, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Anne Kearns, Center Township; Margaret, New Orleans; Kathleen, at home; and Judith, Pittsburgh; one grandson, Devin; one brother, Thomas Hallisey, Beaver, and two sisters, Dolores Hixenbaugh, Beaver, and Eileen Tormey, Hopewell Township. - Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DARROCH FUNERAL HOME, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. - Interment will be in Mt. SON'S OBITUARY: Michael S. Hallisey of Nipomo, CA, formerly Aliquippa, PA, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his home in Nipomo. - He was born March 17, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Dr. John G. and Mary (McKenna) Hallisey of Aliquippa and was a 1968 graduate of St. Veronica High School. Michael was also a graduate of the Western Culinary Institute and was currently working as a beloved Chef for 5 Cities Meals on Wheels in Pismo Beach, CA. He loved playing his guitar, making music, and cooking. - Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his fiancée Joyce G. Delamar, in 2014. - Surviving are his siblings and family members, Brian (Beverly) Hallisey, Mary Anne Hodge, Peggy (Mark West) Hallisey, Kathy (Randy) Pickard, Judy (Michael Fine) Hallisey, John (Cecile Sorra) Hallisey and Peter (Kathy) Hallisey, plus many friends. - A Christian burial of his remains will take place at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aliquippa, on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. Friends and family may be received at the burial site prior to interment. - In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to 5 Cities Meals on Wheels, P.O.
