While a student nurse at St. Francis Hospital, Agnes served in the U.S., World War II Cadet Nursing Corps.

During World War II, Agnes served in the Army Nurse Corps. She entered active service on January 2, 1945 and served until February 18, 1946. When she applied for Veteran Compensation in 1950, she was Agnes E. Lacey, a resident of Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Agnes was born on November 20, 1923 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to Walter Majesky and Sophia Walukanis.

Agnes E. Lacey died August 3, 1993 and she is buried at the St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.
