Veronica Elizabeth Maier, born July 30, 1911 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of John Maier and Theresa Karl. In Pittsburgh, on January 26, 1947, she married Willard Roy Hoel, born Jul 09, 1909. They became the parents of Estelle, Willard and Geraldine.

Williard Roy Hoel died January 2, 1966 in Pittsburgh. Veronica died October 1, 1991.
