OBITUARY: Juanita J. Flowers Magwood, of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, in St. Clair Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William and Lenora Ivy Flowers. Juanita was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, Pittsburgh. She was a graduate of Excelsior High School in Excelsior, WV. Juanita worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital, from which she retired. In her free time, she was an avid traveler. Surviving are a step-son, Clarence Magwood, of Washington, DC; a brother, Vernon D. (Barbara) Flowers, of Washington, PA; several step-grandchildren, two nieces, Talia Flowers and Anteinette Ralph; a nephew, William Coleman; a great-niece, Alyssa Coleman; a great-nephew, Alay Flowers; a step-nephew, John Walden; a special nephew, Philip Lee; and many other family members and friends. Deceased are three brothers, Marshall, William, and Melvin Flowers. Friends are welcome to a graveside service that will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie, with Reverend Walter Cherry officiating.
