A list of graduates of the Class of 1927 was published in the Pittsburgh Press. Kathleen's name is stated as "Mildred Kathleen Kiley."

She was the sister of Loretta Kiley, Class of 1940, and Alice Kiley, Class of 1921. Another sister, Lillian Kiley Noel, was the mother of Mary Joan Noel, Class of 1953. She was the first cousin of Mary Cecelia Kiley, Class of 1928. Their mothers were sisters, and their fathers were brothers. Mary Cecelia's brother's daughter, Joetta A. Kiley, was in the Class of 1960.
