Edith Beatrice Issi was born on September 25, 1912 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Dominick/Dominic Issi and Marie Disantis/Disandro, both born in Italy.

In the 1920 Federal Census, Edith was "Yetta," age 7. The oldest daughter, Julia, 17, was born in Italy, and the others in Pennsylvania. They were Naturalized Citizens. Other children in 1920 were Nicholas, 11, Carmel, 9, Dominick, 5, Lucy, 3, and Fiori, 1 month.

In 1930, Edith was a student nurse at St. Francis Hospital and she lived at the Nurses' Residence.

On December 23, 1940, in Roanoke, Virginia, Edith Beatrice Issi, 28, married Louis Charles Quisito, 31, the son of Ralph Quisito and Rosa Oliva. Louis was born in Trenton, New Jersey. Both were living in Virginia at the time of the marriage.

Edith's father, Dominic, born in 1872, a retired glass worker, died in Charleroi in 1942. His wife died in 1960.

Edith Issi Quisito died on September 12, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Her husband died on May 28, 1992.
