In the 1910 Federal Census, Rose Hudson, nurse, 27, born in Kentucky, parents born in Ohio, was a resident of Rippey Street, Pittsburgh. Several other nurses also lived there.

Rose Hudson is named in early articles about Alumni Association activities, the last about 1915.

She is found as a nurse in the 1906, 1913, and 1920 Pittsburgh City Directories. In the 1920 directory, Rose Hudson, 7540 Bennett Avenue, is listed as a nurse. In the 1920 Census, Rose Hudson, no occupation, at 7538 Bennett Ave., was living with her father, James, age 71, a stationary engineer. Both listed as born in Pennsylvania.
