OBITUARY--Eleanor C. Fretts, a resident of Heritage Towers, Wesley Enhanced Living, Doylestown, since 2003, and formerly of Bedminster and Levittown, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at her home. She was 94. - She was the wife of Paul W. Fretts for 47 years, until his death Feb. 21, 1994. - Born in Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Helinski. A graduate of Scottdale High School, she attained her registered nursing degree from Saint Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1945. - Having worked as a devoted mother most of her life, she also was employed as a registered nurse with her last employment being at Pine Run Community, where she worked for 11 years. - A member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, Mrs. Fretts was a former member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown, where she was a founding member of the Church Catholic Sodality. - She is survived by four sons, Paul D. Fretts and his wife, Zilpha, of Dothan, Ala., John R. Fretts and his wife, Joyce, of Wallingford, Conn., James W. Fretts and his wife, Olga, of Dover, Del., and William M. Fretts of Levittown; eight grandchildren, Travis W. Fretts and his wife, Lindsay, Ryan D. Fretts and his wife, Andrea, John D. Fretts and his wife, Kelly, Spencer C. Fretts and his wife, Amy, Jennifer M. Fretts, Vladislav Fretts, William Fretts and Andy Fretts; nine great-grandchildren, Lillian, Hadley, Camille, Benjamin, Tyler, Jakob, Kody, Emily and Elizabeth Fretts; a brother, William Helinski and his wife, Monica, of Scottdale, Pa., and a sister, Bernadette Jorgensen of Allison Park, Pa. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. - Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Route 152 and Broad Street, Hilltown, where family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Kellers Church Union Cemetery, Kellers Church. Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Perkasie.
