Note: Ellen Garrigan, 83, b Ireland, lived at 5627 Donson Way with son, Frank, age 46. Ellen, widow of James Garrigan, was the mother of Joseph. They immigrated just before the Civil War, according to the 1910 census.

Mildred's mother, Anna, died before the 1920 census. Her last child, Robert, was born about 1911.

Mildred was actually Mary Mildred Garrigan, according to an online posting by a descendant. Mildred, born May 18, 1906, married Walter George Brown, born April 30, 1907 in Rhode Island, on February 2, 1940 in Elkton, Maryland.

Walter George Brown was apparently "Jumbo" Brown, a major league baseball pitcher. Biographical Information is found HERE and HERE

Walter died October 2, 1966. Mildred died December 18, 1972 in Monroe, Orange County, New York.
