Ruth V., Margaret A. (Class of 1925), and Marian Dorothy Fagans (Class of 1929) were sisters, the daughters of David W. and Nannie Fagans of Youngwood, Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.

The family was not found together in the 1920 Census. D. W. Fagans was a Lodger in Uniontown. The mother was called "Mamie" in the 1920 census, at which time she lived on East Washington Avenue in Connellsville, Fayette County. Pennsylvania. Her children were Margaret, 15, Marian, 12, Ruth, 9, and Mary, 2. "Mamie" was employed as a book agent.

The father, David W. Fagans, died in 1929.

At the time of the 1930 Census, Marian, a Trained Nurse, was a roomer in Pittsburgh. Ruth, was a student nurse at St. Francis.

Ruth V. Fagans, Nurse, 24, married Fern Leroy McComb, 30, on June 15, 1935 in Melvindale, Wayne County, Michigan. In the 1940 census, they lived in Youngwood, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and had a daughter, Aileen, 2.

Leroy died on March 3, 1992. Ruth died on June 13, 1999 in Clinton, Oneida County, New York. They are buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Clinton.
