Reno Gazette-Journal, Dec 28, 1961 - "Chester Mayfield, manager of Hilps Drug Store in Sparks, is spending the holidays in San Diego, Calif. He is visiting his children. He has been convalescing following a recent illness."

According to her Social Security record, Martha Mae Crawford was born on January 2, 1920 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Steward T. Crawford and Josephine M. Brennan. After she was married to Chester Mayfield, her name was changed to Martha Mae Mayfield and Maria Martha Mayfield.

Maria M. Mayfield died on October 30, 2001; last residence, Tucson, Pima County, Arizona.
