The father, Adelmo Cervi, died in Florida in May 1982.

In the 1940 census, Gloria was s student nurse at St. Francis. She said she had lived in Charleroi in 1935. Her parents were living in Beaver Fall, Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1940.

Gloria Dolores Cervi served in the Army Nurse Corps between July 26, 1943 and May 31, 1948. When she applied for Veteran Compensation in 1950, she stated that she was born on June 26, 1921 in Derry, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. At the time she entered service, she said she lived in McKeesport. She further stated that her parents were A. F. and Mary Cervi, residents of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the time of her application. She wrote that the compensation check should be sent to her, c/o Veterans Administration Hospital, Coral Gables, Dade County, Florida.

Gloria D. Cervi married Ernest A. Manfredi in 1952 in Dade County, Florida. Ernest, a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, died on January 3, 1992. He is buried at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: MANFREDI, ERNEST ALBERT JR., 66, of Homosassa, died Friday (Jan. 3, 1992) at home. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he came here nine years ago from Miami and was a retired electrician for Florida Power. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Italian Club, Inverness, and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Gloria C.; a son, Michael, Charlottesville, Va.; a daughter, Nanette Gutschmidt, Allen, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Kirby, Azle, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
