DIANA BYRNES KILPATRICK

Diana Byrnes, born on September 13, 1909 in Maryland, was the daughter of Thomas F. Byrnes and his wife, Margaret (Clupp). They are found in the 1910 census of Midland, Allegany County, Maryland, at which time Diana was an infant, and she had a brother, Paul, age 2.

The family is found in the 1920 census of Lonaconing, Allegany County, Maryland. Thomas F. and Margaret E. Byrnes' children were Paul P., 12, MARGARET D., 10, Thomas, 5, and Mary E., 1.

In 1930, Diana was living at the Nurses' Residence at St. Francis Hospital. Her parents were living in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania with their two youngest children, Thomas and Mary E. Also in the home was Elizabeth Clupp, sister of Mrs. Byrnes.

In 1940, Diana, 30, a nurse, lived with her parents in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County. Her father was a steam laborer at a steel mill.

Diana Kilpatrick, as spelled on the Social Security Death Index, born September 13, 1909, died on November 17, 1980; last known residence, Murraysville. She is buried in the same cemetery as her parents: All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The Catholic Diocese cemetery index spells her name as "Diane," which is also the spelling in the obituaries.
