Ona May Bulevicius, born May 25, 1909, was the daughter of Lithuanian immmigrants, Andrius Bulevicius and Ona (Anne) Murinas. Ona May's brothers were Juozas (Joseph), Anthony and Edward.

In 1930, Ona was a student nurse and resided at the Nurses' Residence at St. Francis Hospital.

Bulevicius

On September 13, 1939, at Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Ona M. Bulevicius, a nurse, married John Stankus, a steelworker from Homestead.

Ona's father died on July 11, 1947.

The family eventually shortened the surname to BOLEY.

MOTHER'S OBITUARY: Pittsburgh Press, Apr 20, 1960 - Mrs. Anne BOLEY, of 4201 Davis Avenue, Homestead Park, died on April 19, 1960, wife of the late Andrew Boley; mother of Mrs. Ona Stankus, Joseph, Raymond, and the Rev. Edward Boley. Friends received at the Welsh Funeral Home, 309 E. Tenth Ave., Homestead. Solemn Requiem mass on Saturday at 10 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul R. C. Church, Homestead. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

Until October 1983, Ona Stankus held a nursing license.

Ona M. Stankus died on May 9, 1995. Her husband died on June 18, 1997. They are buried at Saint Casimir Cemetery, Baldwin, Allegheny County.
