ALMA O. ABT

Class of 1941

Biographical Sketch

Alma O. Abt, born about 1919, was the daughter of Edward J. and Minnie (Dopp) Abt. They were residents of Phineas Street, 23rd District, Pittsburgh in 1920. In 1930, they lived on East Street, 24th Ward, Pittsburgh.

Edward, a machinist, was born in Ohio of German parents, Frank and Caroline. Minnie, born about 1885, was the daughter of Jerome and Josephine Dopp, both born in France. They immigrated to the U. S. 1890-1892, so Minnie was probably born there, as well. Jerome Dopp was a resident at the East Street address in 1920.

Alma Abt's siblings, gleaned from census records, were Leona, Marie H., Stella, Dolores, Lucille, and Caroline.

Nothing more is known about Alma.
